Someone has actually made the Nine Inch Nails April Fool's album from 10 years ago and it's great
10 years ago Nine Inch Nails joked that they would release a new album, Strobe Light, on April Fool's Day. Now someone has actually made it, and it's actually great.
Trent Reznor probably think this joke is long gone, but a fan has actually gone and made a mash-up album of Nine Inch Nails and some huge artists.
Chris Martin, Sheryl Crowe, Fergie from Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Justin Timberlake, Bono from U2, and Jay-Z feature on the album. Obviously they aren't real collaborations, but it's brilliant nonetheless.
The original joke even featured the same tracklist on the album that landed today, with Trent Reznor jokingly crediting Timbaland as the producer, according to the Nine Inch Nails wiki page.
