SOHN announces third album with new cut "Segre"
SOHN has shared news of his first album in five years, Trust, and has also released new cut "Segre" to accompany the announcement.
After returning with his first new material in four years, "Figureskating, Neusiedlersee" in May, SOHN has delivered a second outing titled "Segre", which lands with a video directed by and starring Carla Cervantes Caro and Sandra Egido Ibañez (aka LOOKATHINGSDIFFERENT) and is accompanied by news of SOHN's third album Trust.
The new single is inspired by Catalonia, Spain, where SOHN currently resides. He explains that "during the last years of immense change and upheaval, following that river up to our mountain home has become my way of re-centring myself."
Trust will be SOHN's first album in five years, following his 2017 second album Rennen, and saw him bring in collaborators for the record for the first time, including Yakob, Mike Sonier, Jesse Boykins III, Ryan Linvill, Noah Le Gros and Emile Mosseri.
SOHN explains, "On Tremors it was like I was behind glass, but Trust feels like you could be sat in that room, and not just with me; you're sitting in this room with me, some musicians, some friends."
