Soft Cell and Pet Shop Boys unite for new single "Purple Zone"
Soft Cell have released new Pet Shop Boys collaboration "Purple Zone" as the latest preview of their *Happiness Not Included album.
"Purple Zone" follows last month's title-track "Happiness Not Included", and will feature on Soft Cell's new album alongside last year's "Bruises On My Illusions" and "Heart Like Chernobyl" singles.
Marc Almond said, "Working with the Pet Shop Boys was a pleasure, and this track is the perfect combination of us and them."
Dave Ball continued, ""Purple Zone" is probably our finest pop moment since the early 1980s."
Pet Shop Boys added, "We are thrilled to collaborate with such an inspirational duo as Soft Cell on this gorgeous song."
*Happiness Not Included will be Soft Cell's first studio album in two decades, after 2002's Cruelty Without Beauty.
