Soccer Mommy previews new album with third single "Bones"
Soccer Mommy has delivered new cut "Bones" as the third taster of her forthcoming Oneohtrix Point Never-produced album Sometimes, Forever.
"Bones" lands after previous outinngs "Unholy Affliction" and "Shotgun", and is teamed with a Alex Ross Perry-directed video.
The new song was originally written for a rom-com but Soccer Mommy, real name Sophie Allison, decided to keep the song for her Sometimes, Forever album. Allison explains, ""Bones" is a song about struggling with the parts of yourself that you don’t like in a relationship. It’s about wanting to become better for someone and feeling like you’re standing in your own way."
Sometimes, Forever will follow Soccer Mommy's 2020 album Color Theory, and is produced by Oneohtrix Point Never's Daniel Lopatin.
