SOAK signs to Rough Trade, set to make a big splash with new track "B a noBody"
Wowing us at the helm of 2014 with Blud, SOAK has inked a deal with Rough Trade to bring us a slew of fresh noise. Beginning with “B a noBody”, the part-time skateboarder and full-time mindblower is releasing her debut single with the label 3 November.
The Northern Irish singer-songwriter has been truckin’ around various gig circuits for yonks now since she was 14. Now 18, she’s finally signed to a label, delaying the process to make an educated decision and finish her school years. SOAK is already showing maturity and wisdom beyond her years, especially in the anxiety-confronting new cut, “B a noBody”, rife with chilling vocals and folk-pop gold.
She’s currently recording her debut record, set for release early next year, but has announced a string of November dates in the meantime.
