SOAK shares endearing cover of The National's "Bloodbuzz Ohio"
SOAK has released an endearing cover of The National's 2010 single "Bloodbuzz Ohio".
"Bloodbuzz Ohio" was released nearly a decade ago, and appeared on The National's High Violet album in 2010.
Today (25 November), SOAK has shared a cover of the classic track, and it's nothing short of stunning.
In a press release, SOAK, aka Bridie Monds-Watson, says of the cover, "There’s something so special about the imagery the National manages to create within their music and I often catch myself imagining each song as its own movie trailer. I love the manic world this song creates."
Her take on "Bloodbuzz Ohio" also marks SOAK's first release since second album Grim Town landed in April.
