Snoop Dogg links with Benny The Butcher, Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes on new track "Murder Music"
Snoop Dogg has teamed up with fellow rap legends Benny The Butcher, Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes on "Murder Music", the latest outing from his upcoming album The Algorithm.
"Murder Music" is the third track to be shared from Snoop Dogg's new album, following last week's "Like My Weed" by Jane Handcock, and last month's lead single "Big Subwoofer" by Mount Westmore (Snoop Dogg, E-40, Too Short, and Ice Cube).
The Algorithm will be Snoop Dogg's follow-up to April's From tha Streets 2 tha Suites, and will be his first album since joining Def Jam Recordings as a executive creative and strategic consultant in June.
Speaking about his new record, the legendary rapper said, "There’s so much talent on this record, so many styles of music, it breaks the algorithm. Right now, the algorithm is telling us you have to rap this way, you have to sound this way, but they’re not telling you how it’s supposed to feel. My algorithm is going to give you a feeling, not a sound."
