Smoke Fairies announce first album in four years with lead single "Disconnect"
Smoke Fairies are back with news of their first album in four years Darkness Brings The Wonders Home, alongside unveiling their lead single "Disconnect".
"Disconnect" follows on from Smoke Fairies' "Out Of The Woods" single that landed last month.
Darkness Brings The Wonders Home will be the duo's first album since 2015's Wild Winter.
They recorded the new LP in Seattle with producer Phil Ek (The Black Angels, Fleet Foxes, The Shins).
Speaking about the record title, Jessica Davies of Smoke Fairies says, "Times of darkness are when people are often the most imaginative. It helps you to see all the wonders of the world you hadn’t noticed before - the things you’ve been blind to because you’ve been on autopilot for so long."
