Smashing Pumpkins frontman, Billy Corgan has revealed the group have started work on a new album.
The band, who have experienced numerous line-up changes since their 90s heydey, are prepping the follow-up to last year’s effort Oceania.
Corgan took to Twitter yesterday (25 March) to make the announcement, posting: “today’s our 1st official day of writing for new SP album. Wish us luck!”
The singer has previously described the album as as “a cruel record”, saying Vengeance is mine”. Seems likes he’ll be settling some disputes, then…
Smashing Pumpkins are also set to head to the UK later this year, with the full dates here.
