Car Seat Headrest and Smash Mouth have followed through with their plans to whip up one of the best/strangest collabs in recent memory.
A little over a year ago a fan on Twitter suggested the two acts release a split EP - while they've not gone quite that far (yet), but the "All Star" stars and CSH's Will Toledo have recorded covers of each others' songs. First up is Smash Mouth's take on "Something Soon", with Car Seat Headrest tackling "Fallen Horses" in return.
Toledo has recently been busy promoting his newly released revamp of 2011 LP Twin Fantasy.
Hear an interview about the project on SiriusXMU, where both tracks were originally given their respective debuts.
