Sleater-Kinney play first show with new drummer Angie Boylan
Sleater-Kinney played their first show with new drummer Angie Boylan last week following the departure of Janet Weiss.
Janet Weiss announced her departure from the band back in July, just over a month before their new album The Center Won't Hold was released.
Sleater-Kinney played their first show without Weiss last week at Hopscotch Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina, and they were joined by Aye Nako and Freezing Cold's Angie Boylan.
Celebrating their return to the road, Sleater-Kinney wrote on Instagram, "We had a blast at Hopscotch Fest in Raleigh, playing to a lovely and effusive crowd. Felt great to finally perform the new songs along with the older ones."

Weiss is currently recovering from a car accident that happened last month. Her sister Julie Weiss launched a GoFundMe page to pay for her sister's physical therapy.
