Sleater-Kinney detail first album in a decade, reveal a host of tour dates
Sleater-Kinney are in the midst of dropping a deluxe vinyl reissue of their previous records; in amongst this, they managed to find time to slip out the fact that they're back. Back with a new album.
No Cities To Love will be the seminal trio's first record in a decade, and will get its release 19 January on Sub Pop. Longtime collaborator John Goodmanson took produceral duties when the band recorded in secret earlier this year across San Francisco and the Pacific North-West. Speaking about the reformation, guitarist/vocalist Carrie Brownstein said:
"We sound possessed on these songs... willing it all - the entire weight of the band and what it means to us - back into existence."
