Sleaford Mods' Jason Williamson has Labour Party membership suspended
Sleaford Mods' frontman Jason Williamson says he's been suspended from the Labour Party for "online abuse".
Venting on Twitter, the Nottingham punk called the Labour Party "absolute scum" and that they had "happily take[n] my fuckin' money for a fuckin' year."
Sleaford Mods have been vocal supporters of Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, who is currently fending off a leadership challenge from Owen Smith. More here if you're into that kind of thing.
Suspended from @UKLabour funny that. Happily take my Fuckin money for a fuckin year. Fuck politics. Fuck you labour
