Sky Ferreira confirms her new album is "actually coming out" in 2022
Sky Ferreira has revealed on Instagram that her long-awaited second album is "actually coming out" in 2022.
Over the weekend Sky Ferreira gave an update via Instagram on her forthcoming second album. She shared an image of Stereogum's most anticipated albums of 2022, which featured her name in the number four spot, and wrote, "Top 5 most anticipated albums of 2022 ... (It happens every year but it's actually coming out this time)."

Back in October Ferreira shared a cryptic update on her new music, saying, "~it comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb~," an idiom that references the month of March and the weather changes.
Ferreira's second album will follow her 2013 debut Night Time, My Time.
Aside from sharing a lo-fi cover of David Bowie’s "All the Madmen" back in January, Ferreira hasn't released new music since appearing on Charli XCX's "Cross You Out" in 2019.
