Skepta's new album Konnichiwa finally has a release date
Skepta's new album Konnichiwa finally has a release date, which the grime star revealed on Instagram.
Konnichiwa is out 6 May, and follows 2011 album Doin' It Again (although plenty of other Skepta material has arrived in the time since that LP). The 12-track album include already aired tracks "It Ain’t Safe", "That’s Not Me", "Shutdown", and "Ladies Hit Squad".
Last month Skepta told i-D that the long-awaited record was nearly complete: "I'm finishing my album Konnichiwa this week. Finished! Done! Three years of my life encapsulated on a CD.
At the end of 2015 we named Skepta's "Shutdown" our Song Of The Year.
