Sir Paul McCartney busking in London's Covent Garden today

Promoting his new album, aptly entitled New, Sir Paul McCartney looks set to appear at Covent Garden in London this afternoon for a surprise show.

Having already played the new HMV store nearby, rumours have been circulating that McCartney will join the many buskers and street performers that you’re likely to find at the tourist hotspot.

The former Beatle dropped a hint about the performance via Twitter earlier today. You can watch a livestream of the event here.
