Sir Bruce Forsyth attends Iron Maiden concert in London
He may be known more for salsa music and the like in his day job as host of Strictly Come Dancing, but Sir Bruce Forsyth turned metalhead for a night, recently attending an Iron Maiden gig earlier this month.
The national treasure of a TV host, Forsyth was pictured with support band for the night Voodoo Six at the first of two headline nights at the O2 Arena on 3 August, whom he has a family connection to.
“It’s not every day I attend an Iron Maiden show,” Sir Bruce is quoted as saying. “The main reason I was there was for my grandson, Luke (Purdie). He has been touring Europe with his band, Voodoo Six, supporting Iron Maiden over the summer, and it was great to see them at the penultimate show. I’ll have to ask Iron Maiden for a free T-Shirt next time!”
