Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's first album as Silk Sonic, An Evening With Silk Sonic, has passed one billion streams on Spotify.

An Evening With Silk Sonic, which was released last month, has already passed a billion streams on Spotify, according to Chart Data on Twitter.

The album marked Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak's first album as Silk Sonic, and their debut single "Leave The Door Open", is up for four Grammys in 2022, including Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song.

As well as featuring special guest Bootsy Collins, the album included an appearance from Thundercat.

Earlier this month Kelly Clarkson performed a cover of Silk Sonic's "Leave The Door Open".
