Sigur Rós have released "Óveður", their first new single since the release of Kveikur in 2013, with a video by Jonas Åkerlund.
The track arrives at the end of the Icelandic trio's ambitious, 24-hour "Slow TV" project Route One, which used generative music software to create an endless version of "Óveður".
Åkerlund shot the video in Grindavík, which is located on the Reykjanes peninsula, and it stars Icelandic choreographer Erna Ómarsdóttir and camos from Sigur Rós.
"Óveður" is co-produced with Paul Corley, and is out now.
