Sigur Rós have revealed an alternative video for latest single "Óveður" featuring a five-and-a-bit minute timelapse of their Route One project.
Route One saw Sigur Rós livestream a trip around Iceland's 1332km ring road (Route 1) across 24 hours. The stream was accompanied by a generative version of their new single, which evolved organically throughout the day.
A HD edition of the entire day-long stream will be available "permanently" from 9pm (GMT) on 12 July, with a week of re-runs broadcast on Icelandic channel RUV.
We recently caught Sigur Rós at a momentous show in Bristol.
