Sigur Rós air new Route One video in 4K and 360°, share free app
Sigur Rós' Route One project is the gift that keeps on giving - now we have a magnificent 360°, 4K video of the entire thing.
For Route One, new single "Óveður" is put through special generative software that creates and endless version of the track - the band then had that music soundtracking a livestreamed, 24-hour trip around Iceland's 1332km Route 1 ring road.
As well as the new video, Sigur Rós have shared their new, free Route One iOS app - helped by Gwilym Gold and Lexxx with their Bronze technology, which means the song is totally different every single time it's heard.
Kick back and relax - you're in for a long, but thoroughly rewarding, journey of sound and vision.
