Sigrid catches feelings in infectious new pop offering "Sucker Punch"
Norway's Sigrid offers up a playful new pop track "Sucker Punch".
It's hardly been a minute since Sigrid released her Raw EP, and already the rising Norwegian pop star is back with another new offering.
"Sucker Punch" is a bubbly take on a 'I fell for you and didn't realise it' track, and it comes complete with a lyric video that puts the words into Sigrid's reality.
Speaking about her latest offering, Sigrid explains, "“Sucker Punch" is one of my favourite songs so far and I’ve been so excited for release day! Emily Warren, Martin Sjølie and I made it when we were in Ocean Sound Recordings in my hometown a while ago. The song is just a result of our usual way of working: talking, cooking, strolling, singing, dancing, experimenting...! Ugh it was so fun - just like the track itself.”
The BBC Sound of 2018 winner will also be touring her new music around the UK and Europe next month, including her biggest London date yet at Brixton's O2 Academy on 12 November. Find out more.
