
Sigrid and Björk's old band lead new additions to Iceland Airwaves 2017 line-up
Future queen of pop Sigrid and Björk's old band Tappi Tíkarrass lead 34 artists added to this year's Iceland Airwaves.
Art-punk band Tappi Tíkarrass, which in Icelandic means “Cork the Bitch’s Ass" released an EP and album featuring a 17-year-old Björk in 1982.
Also joining the line-up for the November event, which runs in Reykjavík and Akureyri from the 1-5 November, are Michael Kiwanuka, Songhoy Blues, Nilüfer Yanya, Torres, Vagabon and Deep Throat Choir.
