Shura unveils endearing new single "the stage"
Shura has returned with endearing new single "the stage" which is inspired by a first date watching MUNA.
"the stage" is taken from Shura's forthcoming forevher album, and arrives after previous singles "religion (u can lay your hands on me)" and "BKLYNLDN".
Shura's vibrant new single has a delightful story behind it too, as she reveals on Twitter, "This is a song about my first date with my current girlfriend that happened to be at an amazing MUNA concert. We are still together so can thoroughly recommend it as a first date for anyone thinking about it."

forevher, Shura's second album, follows on from her 2016 debut Nothing's Real, and is, in her own words, "a soul record, sung by someone who doesn’t have a traditional soul voice. And I quite enjoy the antagonism of that."
