Shura shares Warpaint remix of "2Shy", announces intimate regional shows
The synthpop mind-blower has also announced her debut regional dates for June. She'll play Brighton's Bleach on 2 June, Manchester's Soup Kitchen on 3 June, and Glasgow's Nice N Sleazy on 4 June. Tickets for the shows go onsale 1 May. She'll also be appearing at a wide range of festivals, including Bestival, Field Day and Festival No. 6.
Speaking about the remix, Shura said: “Warpaint have been and continue to be one of my favourite bands. Everything they do sounds amazing. I loved the remix they did for Daughter and I kind of just asked them and kept my fingers crossed, not really ever thinking it would happen. So it's literally a dream come true that they wanted to do it. I'm stoked we're pressing them to vinyl for these shows, as it's my favourite way to listen to music.”
This new edit follows yesterday (29 April)'s unexpected Mumford & Sons cover of the track.
