Shearwater announce new record Jet Plane and Oxbow, reveal lead single "Quiet Americans"
Shearwater have announced a new record called Jet Plane And Oxbow, and are sharing its lead single "Quiet Americans" now.
The album has been produced by Danny Reisch at studios in Austin and Los Angeles, and it's been mastered by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound. It follows last year's covers LP Fellow Travellers, and 2012's studio record Animal Joy.
Jet Plane And Oxbow is out 22 January via Sub Pop. Pre-orders of the LP will allow fans to stream the album ahead of its release, plus provide access to an exclusive podcast called "Headwaters", featuring "demos and outtakes from the new record and a conversation between Meiburg and WNYC's John Schaefer."
