Sharon Van Etten, Kathleen Edwards & more feature on John Denver tribute album

A new tribute record to the late folk singer John Denver is said to be released next week, featuring the likes of Sharon Van Etten and Kathleen Edwards, among others. But before then, you can stream it online right now.

The Music Is You is set to drop next week (1 April in UK, 2 April in North America) and stars, on top of the aforementioned acts, the likes of My Morning Jacket, Dave Matthews, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Emmylou Harris giving their takes on the songwriter’s classic tracks.

The record marks 15 years after Denver’s death and what would have been his 70th birthday.
