
Shamir shares tender cover of Laura Veirs' "Where Gravity Is Dead"
Shamir has covered Laura Veirs' Year of Meteors track "Where Gravity Is Dead" for Kill Rock Stars' 30th anniversary cover series.
As part of Kill Rock Stars' 30-year anniversary cover series, Shamir has delivered his version of Laura Veirs' Where Gravity Is Dead" track, which featured on her 2005 album Year of Meteors.
Shamir's cover follows last week's cover of The Decemberists' "As I Rise" by Fruit Bats. The Cribs, Deerhoof, Xiu Xiu, Johanna Samuels and more have also contributed to Kill Rock Stars' cover series.
On top of covering Veirs this year, Shamir has covered songs by Sharon Van Etten, Billie Eilish and more, and will release his debut book But I'm a Painter tomorrow (27 August).
