Shamir has - as promised - released a cover of Olivia Rodrigo's latest single "Deja Vu" as part of Bandcamp Friday today (7 May).
Rodrigo released "Deja Vu" last month alongside news of her highly-anticipated debut album Sour, and today (7 May) Shamir has delivered a hazy cover of the track, which is released as part of the latest Bandcamp Friday today.
It's not the first cover Shamir has shared this year; back in March he covered Sharon Van Etten's "DsharpG" for her epic Ten album and featured on Christian Lee Huton's cover of The Cure's "Just Like Heaven", and in February Shamir delivered a "haunted emo shoegaze rock" cover of Billie Eilish’s "Ocean Eyes".
Shamir's cover of Olivia Rodrigo's "Deja Vu" is available on Bandcamp now.
