
Shakira attacked and robbed by wild boars in Barcelona park
Colombian star Shakira revealed via her Instagram stories yesterday (29 September) that she was attacked and robbed by a pair of wild boars in a Barcelona park.
The bizarre story was shared by Shakira on Instagram, and saw her reveal that she was attacked by two wild boars, who then snatched her bag and took it to the woods nearby.
She showed her destroyed bag to the camera, saying, "Look at how two wild boar which attacked me in the park have left my bag."
As BBC reports, the Colombian singer said two wild boars attacked her while walking in a Barcelona park with her eight-year-old son, "They were taking my bag to the woods with my mobile phone in it," the singer said in her Instagram stories. "They've destroyed everything."
Speaking to her eight-year-old son in one of the posts, Shakira added, "Milan tell the truth. Say how your mummy stood up to the wild boar."
BBC notes that the invasive species has caused many issues in the Spanish city in recent years, and in 2016, Spanish police received 1,187 phone calls about the animals, with incidents of wild boars attacking dogs, holding up traffic and charging at cars.
