serpentwithfeet announces new EP with lead single "Down Nuh River"
serpentwithfeet has returned with news of DEACON’S GROVE, a companion EP for March's DEACON album, and has unveiled new single "Down Nuh River" to accompany the announcement.
"Down Nuh River" is the first outing from serpentwithfeet's DEACON'S GROVE EP, and arrives with a video directed by serpentwithfeet and Keith Nedd Bridgeman.
Speaking about the new song, serpentwithfeet says, "When working on "Down Nuh River" I was thinking of all the songs that me, my friends and cousins made up as kids. We had so much fun creating and reinventing songs on the playground and the porch. I wanted to channel that energy in this track."
DEACON'S GROVE is described as a companion piece to serpentwithfeet's DEACON album that arrived in March, and will feature two new songs as well as reinterpretations and remixes of songs from the original album.
