Serge Gainsbourg's cigarette butts & more up for auction

Personal items belonging to late French singer Serge Gainsbourg are set to go under the hammer.
As The Guardian report, such memorabilia as photographs, shoes, cassette cases and a personal telegram to wife, Jane Birkin, who he dueted with on ‘Je t’aime … moi non plus’ will be up for grabs later this month.
Other highlights of the lots for sale at a Nantes auction house include cigarette butts from the iconic smoker and even nail clippings. Those latter clippings are expected to reach between €50-€80.
The auction will be held on 31 October at Talma auction house. Gainsbourg’s handwritten shopping list was recently flogged off for £6,540.
