Sean Nicholas Savage unveils "Lifestyles", a new song from upcoming release Yummycoma
Canadian pop stalwart Sean Nicholas Savage has unveiled "Lifestyles", a new song from upcoming record Yummycoma.
The new project will follow last year's visual LP Magnificent Fist and 2015's Other Death opus.
"Lifestyles" sees Savage rummage around in the ghosts of synthpop past for some marvellous tones and hooks - it's part power ballad, part romantic epic OST, and part New Romantic anthem.
Savage wrote a statement/poem to The FADER about the track, which is very nice but doesn't shed much light on the meaning:
re: lifestyles
a bit like mariachi singers
slowed down
like the flower duet
and poetically
one painfully waking
unexpectedly
finding that some things are now too late
and that some things are never too late
