Sean Nicholas Savage details new record Other Death
Sean Nicholas Savage has announced a new album called Other Death, and shared its lead single "Casablanca".
The new LP follows last year's spectacular Bermuda Waterfalls, and will be his twelfth album in all. The album will feature Nite Jewel and TOPS on as special guests.
A marked veteran of Edmonton's pop and lo-fi scenes, Savage has risen to prominence in recent years with a slew of well-received offerings. Other Death is largely a collaboration with Agor (of Blue Hawaii), mixing disparate genres like reggae, house, bossa nova, pop and folk, and is described as an overt contrast to Savage's earlier material: "It's immediately more upbeat, uptempo, confident, inspired."
Other Death is released 18 September on Arbutus.
