Sean Nicholas Savage announces Mac DeMarco-produced album with title-track "Shine"
Sean Nicholas Savage is back with news of his forthcoming Mac DeMarco-produced album Shine, and has released the title-track to accompany the announcement.
"Shine" is the second track to be lifted from Savage's new album, following last month's "Comet", and is teamed with a self-directed video.
Savage says of the new single, "It’s about the glimmering eye of a seagull eating trash, or a cat on the fire escape, from another being, in another world, that glimmer of hope, the glimmer of life."
Shine will follow Savage's 2020 album Life Is Crazy, and was recorded and produced by Mac DeMarco in LA.
He adds of the album, "With Life is Crazy, I was delving into the overwhelming emotional experience of life and with Shine, I just wanted to dive in and be more healing."
