Sea Change Festival announces first acts for 2018
Devon-based extravaganza Sea Change Festival has announced its first wave of acts, with Gwenno, Lost Horizons, and The Weather Station leading the way.
Andrew Weatherall, Hater, Penelope Isles, Red River Dialect, Boy Azooga, Sweet Baboo, Hatis Noit, and Group Listening are also confirmed for the Totnes bash, with stages curated by labels such as Bella Union, Moshi Moshi, Erased Tapes, Fire Records, and Earth Recordings.
The festival, founded by esteemed local record store Drift Records, takes over some of the town's best and most unusual venues over August Bank Holiday Weekend. New for 2018 is Dartington Hall, which becomes the de facto 'main stage' of the event.
As well as the main musical lineup, a special show dedicated to inimitable folk icon Shirley Collins will take place, looking at her life, music, and impact over the decades.
