Scott Walker to reissue first five albums as boxset
This coming June, Universal will reissue a boxset featuring remastered versions of Scott Walker’s first five solo albums.
Titled Scott Walker: The Collection, the sets will be released on both vinyl and CD, featuring versions of Scott, Scott 2, Scott 3, Scott 4 and ‘Til the Band Comes In, all remastered from the original tapes.
The CD set will be packaged in a hardback case with extensive sleeve notes, photographs and a 16 page booklet by Rob Young, the editor of No Regrets: Writings on Scott Walker. The vinyl equivalent will feature the albums pressed on 180g heavyweight vinyl, with an 11″ print from the Scott 2 artwork, and longer booklet featuring essays and interviews from archived content.
