The nom de plume of French producer and sound engineer for Paris’ Centre Pompidou arts museum Pierre Lefeuvre, Saycet’s upcoming Volcano EP is available to stream below exclusively at Best Fit.
On his prior releases, Lefeuvre traded mostly in skittering dark dance club fare and shadowy trip hop. Volcano, however, is a wholly different proposition entirely. With a new sound purportedly borne of fresh inspiration from architecture and design, Volcano highlights Lefeuvre’s canny grasp of dynamics and an emphasis on depth and three-dimensionality.
Volcano is due 17 November courtesy of Meteores Music, while Saycet’s third LP is set for release in early 2015.
