Saweetie denies Cardi B beef and says they're "waiting for that right record" to collaborate
Saweetie has shrugged off rumours that she's on bad terms with Cardi B, and has said they're just "waiting for that right record" to collaborate.
As HotNewHipHop reports, Cardi B and Saweetie fans have been questioning whether the two rappers are on good terms or not, as Cardi B is married to Migos' Offset while Saweetie is currently with Quavo, and they haven't shared many interactions thus far.
Last month Cardi B's sister Hennessy Carolina shut down rumors that the two rappers were beefing and said they were actually in talks to collaborate. Saweetie has since confirmed Hennessy Carolina's claims during an appearance on The Breakfast Club.
Saweetie said of Cardi B, "Yeah, our teams have definitely been talking. I think we're just kinda waiting for that right record."
The rapper added, "I think the media just likes to take things out of context. I'm loving how women artists are starting to realise that sometimes it's the media that creates something that's not there. I think it just shows mature and it shows growth amongst me and my peers to not be affected by what the media says."
