Savages, The Kills, and Steve Reich performed by the Oslo Sinfonietta among new Øya additions
Øya Festival has announced a bunch of new names, including The Kills, Savages, Travis Scott, and the Oslo Sinfionetta performing Steve Reich's Music For 18 Musicians.
NAO, Death By Unga Bunga, and Rat Boy will also join the line up. These new names join the likes of Massive Attack w/ Young Fathers, PJ Harvey, Highasakite, New Order, Jamie xx, M83, Foals, Chvrches, Lush, Ane Brun, Aurora, Stormzy, Julia Holter, Stormzy, and loads more ace acts.
Øya has also confirmed a London show at KOKO on 8 April, with Slutface and Great News on the bill. As well as the show (put on with Club NME), both bands will feature on a special Øya Festival 7" released on the same day. Oscar Gronner has created the art.
Øya 2016 takes place 9-13 August, at Oslo's Tøyenparken.
