Savages' bassist Ayşe Hassan and Kendra Frost reveal Nine Inch Nails cover as Kite Base
Kite Base - aka bassists Kendra Frost and Savages' Ayşe Hassan - have shared a cover of Nine Inch Nails "Something I Can Never Have".
Kite Base are a new two-piece band consisting of bass guitarists, Ayse Hassan (Savages) and Kendra Frost. The duo comprise intertwining bass rhythms with looping electronic beats that encompass industrial edge, blending the craft of pop with organic noise.
The cover follows singles "Dadum" and "Miracle Waves", and was picked because of the influence that NIN have had on Kite Base.
Earlier today Savages were nominated for the Mercury Prize for their second LP Adore Life.
