Savages' Ayşe Hassan announces new EP as Eşya with lead single "Nothing"
Savages' bassist Ayşe Hassan returns to her solo project Eşya, announcing her new EP with the brooding lead single "Nothing".
In her own words, "Nothing" is "an acknowledgement of a moment in your life that changes everything you thought you knew - The profound impact of our relationships, choices and experience. The song is a dedication to a friend lost, not in body but in mind - from a tragic experience that changed their entire being."
"Nothing" is the first single to arrive from Eşya's Absurdity of ATCG (I) EP, which is her first new music since last year's "Road Trip" single as 180dB - a side project with fellow Savages member Fay Milton.
Last year Eşya released her debut EP Absurdity of Being.
