Savages’ Ayşe Hassan releases seven-track EP as Eşya
Eşya, aka Savages’ Ayşe Hassan, has dropped a new seven-track EP titled Absurdity of ATCG (II) - Emergent Form.
The seven tracks featured on Eşya's new EP follow on from her Absurdity of ATCG (I) EP that dropped in May.
Eşya's new EP release arrives with a visual for the opening track "Blue Orchid".
Expanding on the EP, Hassan says, "This EP is about becoming the next version of yourself, about engaging 'in the process of coming into being or becoming prominent'. Transgressing comfort zones by experimenting with the complex and contradictory ideas that can exist within one person and the journey of overcoming the things that impact us from becoming the person we want to be. ATCG refers to the building blocks in human DNA, that set the foundations of what we will be before we take our first breath along with the absurdity we encounter in the life / society we are born into. The intention is to be honest, abrasive and direct, confronting the things we fear the most."
Last year Eşya released her debut EP Absurdity of Being.
