London vocalist Sampha is set to release a new 7″ single featuring a full-length take on “Too Much”, the singer’s collaboration with Drake from the latter’s album, Nothing Was The Same.
The elegant sample that graced Drizzy’s LP has been fleshed out into just under three minutes of undulant keys and the kind of gorgeous anguish for which Sampha is steadily becoming better known.
“Too Much” is being put out by Young Turks, to whom Sampha has donated EP track “Without” for a limited edition 12″ compilation that will also feature the xx. The single includes B-side “Happens,” and will be released on 12 November.
