Sampha performs new song “Plastic 100°C” on top of the Young Turks office
Sampha's shared a live acoustic rendition of new track “Plastic 100°C”, his second new song of 2016.
It follows last month's "Timmy's Prayer" - Sampha's first solo release since 2013 - and arrives ahead of an exciting summer. The track is a preview of his long-awaited debut record.
Speaking to The FADER, as part of his new cover story about the album, Sampha says: “There’s a lot I see, feel, really want to express... I think that’s part of the thing, like - I feel so much... I wanna make things feel more magic to me, like how I felt when I was younger. When you grow older, you try and work harder to find the magic in life.”
Robert Semmer and Kevin Hayden have directed the session. It was shot in one take at dusk on top of the offices of his label, Young Turks.
