Sampa The Great shares euphoric new single "Heaven" featuring Whosane
Sampa The Great has returned with new Whosane collaboration "Heaven", taken from her forthcoming debut album The Return.
"Heaven" is the fourth single to be lifted from The Return, after "Freedom", "OMG", and "Final Form".
Offering an explanation of the new single, Sampa The Great says, ""Heaven" is where I detail my encounter with a 'near death experience' or so I thought. With this experience and in most cases for people who experience such, it causes you to change your thinking patterns and evaluate the importance of certain things in your life. "Heaven" is the detailing of that stage and the emotions behind it. Sung by the ever talented and beautiful Whosane, along with the most beautiful vocals by my own lil sister, Mwanje."
Sampa The Great's album The Return will see her team up with a plethora of collaborators, including Blue Lab Beats, Boadi, Lori, Mandarin Dreams, SILENTJAY, Steam Down, and more. The Return is also mixed by Jonwayne (Stones Throw), MsM (Skepta, Boy Better Know) and Andrei Eremin (Hiatus Kaiyote, Chet Faker).
The Return follows on from Sampa The Great's 2017 mixtape Birds and the BEE9.
