Sam Smith's house reportedly burgled during Glastonbury set
One of the very few problems of playing such a massive, well-publicised festival like Glastonbury is that everyone knows where you are at that given moment. Such was the case for Sam Smith at this year’s fest, with the singer reportedly having his house robbed during his set.
The Sun are reporting that Smith - who recently released debut album In The Lonely Hour - returned home to South London to find his flat burgled.
“Sam and his mates were all down at the festival when it happened,” a “source” told the paper. “They (the burglars) took a number of items from his property. Sam was gutted when he got back. He’s clearly paying the price of fame.”
“Sam loves where he lives but his management are looking to move him somewhere else as his current place is not very secure.”
Like many, Smith had posted on social media to update fans that he was en route to Glastonbury.
