Sam Smith's 2008 debut album Diva Boy is getting a rerelease
Sam Smith's 2008 debut has been found, and is set for a re-release - hear first single "Momentarily Mine" now.
It turns out that 2014's In The Lonely Hour wasn't actually his first album.
A press release explains: "The young singer/songwriter spent his formative years at Flipbook Music’s West London studios... ["Momentarily Mine"], originally recorded by the singer in 2008, was one of Sam’s favourite songs and is an indication of what to expect from the forthcoming album Sam Smith Diva Boy which was completed during the same period."
Flipbook Music are releasing the record (there's a whole site for more info) next month.
Smith says: "I've gone on an incredible, incredible journey with the first album, it has given me the ability to learn my art."
Hear "Momentarily Mine" below. It features lots of shots of Smith in his youth.
