Sam Smith gets a glossy doppelgänger: "feel free to squeeze my wax bum!”
Sam Smith's waxwork has been unveiled at Madame Tussauds San Francisco.
Smith spent hours working with the team and sitting patiently so that the artists could take "over 250 measurements, identifying exact eye color, and detailing each strand of hair". He also donated a suit and a pair of shoes to Madame Tussauds for the model.
Speaking about the unveiling, Smith said: “I can't actually believe that I'm going to be in Madame Tussauds. This is the ultimate 'pinch yourself' moment. The process was so fascinating and I will never look at a waxwork in the same way again. Thank you Madame Tussauds, and hope you all have fun. Feel free to squeeze my wax bum!”
Smith's debut LP In The Lonely Hour is out now.
