Sam Fender unleashes his rage on new track "Aye"

Sam Fender takes aim at the "greedy tax dodging billionaires of the world" on new track "Aye", which arrives as the second preview of his upcoming album Seventeen Going Under.

"Aye" is the second track to be lifted from Fender's sophomore album Seventeen Going Under, following last month's lead single and title-track "Seventeen Going Under".

Speaking about the new single, Fender says, ""Aye" is about the polarity between the left and the right wing, and how that leaves working class people displaced with a lack of political identity, playing into the hands of the 1%. It’s also a rant about my disdain for the greedy tax dodging billionaires of the world."

Seventeen Going Under will follow his 2019 debut Hypersonic Missiles, and was produced alongside Bramwell Bronte.

Fender said of the upcoming record, "This album is a coming of age story. It’s about growing up. It’s a celebration of life after hardship, and it’s a celebration of surviving."

"Aye" is out now. Sam Fender's second album Seventeen Going Under will arrive 8 October via Polydor Records, and is available to pre-order now.
